What we collect

When you sign in we receive your email address and display name from our identity provider (signin.ounie.com). When you generate a deck we record which of your brains you selected, the topic, and the cards produced (front, back, and a citation pointer to the brain page each card came from). Your review history (grades and timestamps) is stored to power scheduling and streaks.

What we don't collect

We don't track you across the web. There are no third-party analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no session replay. We don't sell, share, or resell anything you generate. Every deck belongs to the account that made it.

Where data lives

Application data (decks, cards, review history, credit ledger entries) is stored in a single Neon Postgres database hosted in the US. Your brain content itself stays on ounie.com — Study Decks reads it at generation time through Ounie's API as you, and never keeps a copy of your sources.

Payments

Payments happen on ounie.com, where Stripe processes credit purchases. This product never sees your card number; it only reads and debits your Ounie credit wallet. Stripe's privacy policy lives at stripe.com/privacy.

Your brain content

Cards are generated only from the brains you own and select, fetched through Ounie's API with your own session — Study Decks can never see anyone else's brain, and never stores your sources. Deleting a deck deletes its cards and your review history for it; your brain on ounie.com is untouched.

Deletion

To delete your account or download your data, open a privacy ticket. We respond within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30.
