You saved it.
Now actually know it.
Study Decks turns the knowledge in your Ounie brain into flashcards — every card cited back to the page it came from — then schedules reviews with spaced repetition so it sticks. Pick a brain, name a topic, drill it daily.
From brain to long-term memory in three steps.
Pick your brain(s)
Sign in with your Ounie account and your brains are just there — the notes, docs, links, and transcripts you already saved. Pick up to five, optionally scope to a topic ("Chapter 4", "pricing objections", "the immune system").
Generate cited cards
We retrieve the most relevant pages and write atomic flashcards from them — nothing else. Every card carries a link to the exact brain page it came from, and any card that can't cite one is dropped. Thin material honestly yields fewer cards, and you're only charged for what you get.
Review on the curve
Grade each card Again / Hard / Good / Easy. Spaced repetition schedules the next look right before you'd forget — 10 minutes, a day, a week, two months. A short daily session keeps the streak and the knowledge.
Cards you can trust, on a schedule you don't have to think about.
Generation reads the actual pages of your brain and writes atomic question/answer cards — definitions, why/how, contrasts, applications. Any card that can't cite a real page is thrown away before you ever see it. Then SM-2 spacing takes over: grade a card and it comes back right before you'd forget it.
Anywhere "I saved it" needs to become "I know it."
A brain remembers for you. A deck makes sure you remember without it.
Exam prep
Your lecture notes, textbook chapters, and paper summaries are already in your brain. Scope a deck to this week's chapter, drill it daily, and walk into the exam with the curve on your side instead of a highlighter.
Team onboarding
New hires read the handbook once and forget it by Friday. Generate a deck from the company brain — policies, architecture, who-owns-what — and onboarding becomes a two-week review habit instead of a wiki nobody reopens.
Sales enablement
Pricing tiers, objection handling, competitor deltas — the things reps must answer without looking. Drill the product brain until the answers are reflexes, and re-generate when positioning changes.
Professional recall
Clinicians, engineers, pilots — fields where recall under pressure matters. Whatever protocols and references live in your brain become a maintenance-dose review queue, ten minutes a day.
Terminology & language
Glossaries, domain jargon, vocab lists saved to a brain become cloze-style drills. Blend a terminology brain with a usage-notes brain and learn the word with its context, not in isolation.
Certification & compliance
Regulations and standards change; your recall has to keep up. Re-generate the deck when the source docs update — the scheduler keeps old knowledge warm while you drill the deltas.
REST or MCP. Grounded in your brains.
Every action — generate a deck, review a card, export to Anki — is a REST endpoint and a native MCP tool. Point Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or your Ounie AI Team at Study Decks and it builds cited flashcards from what you already know, drawing your shared Ounie credits. One Ounie master key works across every Ounie app. Because cards are grounded in your privatebrains, generation authenticates as you — there's no keyless rail.

One generated card costs 1 Ounie credit (1¢) — the same wallet every Ounie product shares — and you're only charged for cards actually produced. Reviews, streaks, and progress never cost anything: retention shouldn't have a meter running.
